Since this is the first of this kind here, I'll explain. This column (Sentence Reviews) dedicates to trying to describe an album in two sentences or less. Humor is not uncommon here (as if I could keep it away otherwise).
Imogen Heap - Speak For Yourself
Creative pop from a talented mind. Clever looping and synth-work abound.
Favorite tracks: "Hide and Seek", "Headlock"
Men At Work - Business as Usual
Reggae, 80's pop-rock, beautiful lyrics, and a lazy-eyed Australian.
Favorite tracks: "I Can See it in Your Eyes", "Touching the Untouchables"
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Cliché to lists like this, but with good reason. Incredible themes, a forty-minute masterpiece.
Favorite tracks: "Time", "Us and Them"
Captain Beefheart - Ice Cream For Crow
Much like most of Captain Beefheart's music, Ice Cream For Crow is audibly caustic, and catchy like the plague.
Favorite track of all time: "Ice Cream For Crow"
Arcade Fire - Funeral
An indie-rock band from Montreal, who happens to be more palatable than most indie.
Favorite tracks: "Neighborhood #2 (Laika)", "In the Backseat"
Modest Mouse - The Moon and Antarctica
Ethereal indie. Groundbreaking in terms of being the most depressing thing to ever exist.
Favorite tracks: "The Stars are Projectors", "A Different City"
